Enviromobile

Today we had a visit from Miss Lara and the enviromobile! It was very exciting afternoon for us! We were able to look at pond water in a microscope and see all of the living creatures in it! Thank you Miss Lara.

See You At the Pole

This morning was See you At the Pole. It was an amazing experience to worship God as a community. Thank you for everyone that made this such an awesome morning!

Progress Reports

We will be having progress reports go home on Friday, September 27th. They will be sent out via e-mail. If you would like a paper copy, please let Mrs. Wilson know.

Thankful!

We are thankful for our new desks! Thank you for putting them together for us so quickly Mr. Schurman!!!

Mr. VanDrunen

Mr. VanDrunen came to our class for one of our projects. He discussed with us fire safety and what he does as a volunteer fireman in St. John.

We even timed him for 1 minute to see if he was able to get all of his gear on in that time! Ask your child if he made it!

Mr. VanDrunen showed us the mask a fireman would wear if they came in our house. This way we would not be scared if we heard someone talking with their voice muffled.

Introducing Mr. VanDrunen as a class auction demonstration! A lot of hard work was put into the preperation of this speech.

Practice!

We are in the computer lab right now, and this is our first time looking at our blog as a class! We looked up words on the Bible concordance online. Now we are having the opportunity to see how this works! Check back on Friday for more information about our week.

Clay Hieroglyphics

After learnimg about ancient writings in class we attempted to make our own type of writings. We made clay from flour and salt because people would write on clay pots before they had paper.

We then wrote on our clay in hieroglyphics.

Monday

We will be going to the computer lab on Monday to learn how to use blogger for posting journal entries and pictures. Until then, I will post some of the pictures we have taken over the first few weeks of school.

Back To School

We did it! We have made it through the first 3 weeks of school. We have been very busy here in 4th grade. Hopefully you will enjoy looking at our website and learning about all of the fun things we are doing!
