Auction
One of our students researched cats on the internet and brought in a binder full of interesting information. She also brought in a few of her kittens with her presentation. I think the class was very excited!

Feast of the Hunter's Moon
Our field trip to Lafayette was a great learning experience for us! Here are a few pictures mixed some comments from the class. Look for more pictures and comments over the next few days.
Mr. Culler taught us how they would use wool in everyday life, as well as give it color.
"I liked Bill Culler, he used an old fashioned wool spinner and he showed us how to dye spun wool."
Our group shot!
An Indiana strayed away from his camp.
He tried to take Mrs. Schutt from us!
The blacksmith showed us how much he could do with metal. We even brought a piece home with us!
"I thought the blacksmith was cool."
"We saw a blacksmith who made a metal S and he twisted it!"

Sound and Vibration
Mr. Hayes was kind enough to come in and share his cello experience with us. In Science we have been studying sound. Some of the specific things are: vibration, tone, and pitch. We have been doing small investigations in class, but Mr. Hayes was able to show us all of these things in action!
Thank you Mr. Hayes!

Auction
This morning we had Mrs. VanDrunen visit us from Florida! Mrs. VanDrunen is a grandma to a student in our class. She is a travel agent. Mrs. VanDrunen was introduced and she told us how geography and computer skills are necessary to do a good job in her field. The class then had the chance to ask her questions. Thank you for visiting us in Indiana!
Mrs. VanDrunen is Mr. VanDrunen's mom. We had a magician visit us for their auction points! She wowed us with her magic skills.
